Wonderful chronograph wristwatch (bracelet can easily be swapped for a leather strap if you would like that). Love the look of the dial on this one with the very thin hands.

The brand:
Silver was a mid-20th-century Swiss watch brand known for producing accessible mechanical chronographs powered by reliable ébauche movements such as Landeron calibres. Their watches were typically housed in silver or steel cases and aimed at offering functional, well-made chronographs at a more attainable price point than the high-end brands. Like many smaller Swiss manufacturers of the era, Silver did not survive the quartz crisis of the 1970s, and the brand no longer exists today. Their chronographs remain appreciated by collectors as honest examples of everyday Swiss watchmaking from the golden age of mechanical chronographs.
