The brand:
Yema is a French watch brand, founded in 1948 by Henry Louis Belmont. They created some of the first automatic watches entirely produced in France. They were then owned by Seiko from the end of the 1980's until 2005 when it was purchased by a Mr Louis Eric Beckensteiner and is operated as an independent brand to this day.
